I haven't written a review before but the first review for this product was so ridiculous that I had to comment.
I purchased this product and it is a GREAT karaoke CD. I am a music teacher and work with a lot of background tracks, etc. The tracks on this album are almost the exact movie soundtrack minus the lead vocals (i.e., no cheesy "karaoke" sounding music). They also have the original movie singers as background vocals, which is fun for kids to sing along to.
An added bonus is that the "demo" versions of the songs are actually the songs from the movie soundtrack with the original singers. So, if you don't have the movie sountrack, you can buy this and have almost all the songs from the movie (minus Sharpay's "Music in Me", and the last 2 tracks on the soundtrack album) as well as the karaoke versions. Grade A+ from this music teacher!!

Fans of HSM2 will be happy with this CD. Songs are exactly as you would suspect from the movie with good vocal tracks and great instrumentals.
Only problem: Fabulous has no cue on instrumental track for when singer is to begin, making it difficult for singers to get the first line with the music.
Still well worth it for those HSM2 fans.

The second I recieved this product I put it directly into my karaoke machine. Listen I am a huge fan of HSM 2 and believe me this is very fun to use. A bunch of friends and this can make your day a blast.

it has with and without songs. You'll love it! The reason why I gave it a rating of 4 is because it doesn't have All For One, but it's a great C.D.

My kids (and I….oh, and my husband) all love High School Musical 2's music. However, this one's missing Sharpay's YOU ARE THE MUSIC IN ME–my absolute favorite song and the hula song at the end. Boo….these are two that you definitely miss. So, while it's good to have the music, the lack of those songs keep it from being great.
